Good afternoon everyone!
Matt from far west Texas checking in. Active on a couple other forums also before I found this one. I've always had an affinity for Savage Arms. My bro and I shared a 24 in 22/410 growing up and I just jumped on a 24c 22/20 on gunbroker that I'm waiting for to get here. Great forum, been reading a bunch. Going to have to try to fix the light strike on my brothers 22 barrel. I look forward to the reading! Thanks in advance guys.
Respectfully, Matt
PS anyone know about sticking extractors on a Fox B?

Welcome to the forum. I just recently joined myself. Good info here. I've had a number of Stevens 22-410's and Savage 24's. On some of the old ones or heavily used ones I would get a build up of gunk under the .22 firing pin causing light primer strikes, If the firing pin is not broken/deformed you may fine that a through cleaning of the .22 firing pin will fix your problem. Check it out and good luck.

WELCOME!!
I have a couple and would like to find a junker 24C. I say junker I mean beater cause I simply wont do what I would like with a nice looking gun. LOL
