Do any of you own 12 gauge Savage 24s. Have you tried the X-caliber adapter system in them?

I have not tried the X-caliber system, can't even find a Chiappa X-caliber gun to look at (I'm interested). I have used several types of adapters in different Savage 24's. The problem always remains that it's a problem getting the adapters to shoot to the sights consistently.

I'm not a huge fan of scopes on these, but a scope with a look through mount dialed to the adapted barrel might make things easier. ACE Adaptors out of Alaska are solid, have a lot of options, and are good people. Give em a look. I don't work for em, or get any benefit from it (unless they're reading this and want to send me a free one?) but theyre definitely quality.
