Picked this up some time back. It should be a Camper.... has same bag and all but its different...
SN kinda tosses me. Is this a super rare gun or just a remarked junker?

Does it have a bullet trap in the stock? It should have an aluminum gate that swings out to reveal two holes bored into the stock where you can store a couple of 20ga. shells and a few .22 rounds. It looks like it is the series P model of the 24C. It's not often that you find a case that is in good shape. Congrats on your camper. Someone else was asking about a model 24 with an RD serial number prefix a while ago but I don't recall if there were any conclusions made.

Unless he bought it from the original guy and is just using those photos himself? The only other RD gun I've seen is this one (though it's not like I'm out looking for them)

Despite some doubts expressed here, it DOES have the authentic longitudinal crack near the half-moon of the wood behind the receiver. ;-)
