Greetings all. Brand new to this forum. Trying to help a friend with his 24S model. The side lever will work it's way out. In looking at what limited info there is, would it be weak spring tension on the locking bolt? Any info would be appreciated in helping him get his old rifle back to a confident state.

There is a groove in the lever that the trigger housing fits into that locks it in place that is supposed to prevent it from backing out…
