I reload with Lee Classic loaders so I only have the ability to neck size cases. I have once fired RP brass that I have reloaded for my 222/20 24V-A and they are very hard to eject. I actually broke my ejector but I have since got that fixed.
I would think that the neck sizing only would work fine for this type of action considering that the brass was first fired in this rifle chamber but my reloaded rounds eject hard and if I fire them then the brass has to be removed by ram rod because after firing they are REALLY stuck in there good. These are not hot loads and once the case is ejected I see no signs of high pressure around the primer.
I am suspicious about this chamber because of the open area around the ejector. Could the case be swelling some towards the ejector area of the chamber causing this issue?
Any advice appreciated

Is the chamber real clean? Do a good chamber buzz, And go from there. Don't know if shorter rounds can be shot from your 24, If so, Might be a place to start. My experience with 22LR, Shooting shorts and longs, the carbon ring causes these problems, Nothing but a good chamber buz was needed. Also, Shooting 38 special through a 357 has caused the same problems, Again, Nothing but a good chamber cleaning didn't take care of for me. Good Luck, And stay safe. Paul

If cleaning alone doesn't fix the issue, try wrapping some 4/0 steel wool around an appropriate brush, and using an electric drill with the brush saturated with oil, burnish the chamber. This will polish it up nicely. Use plenty of oil.

Only time I've had extraction issues with a 222 (in a bolt gun) was when the necks were too long.
