I have the 24V 222/20ga and I have successfully calibrated the barrels and I have developed loads for the rifle & slugs that hit in the same place. I have had extractor problems along the way. After breaking the extractor and fixing it I still have a problem extracting the shotgun hulls after I shoot my slugs. I have lowered the load as much as 3 grains lower than the recommended charge to see if that was the problem but the hulls still get stuck after they are fired. They are not really bad stuck either, a slight tap out with bore cleaning rod pops them right out. I don't have any different brand name hulls to try right now but I wonder if that may make a difference. If I fire a bird shot round it will eject just fine. Any ideas?

Make sure the chamber is VERY clean, Use an oversize brush if needed, Maybe polish it with mothers after that.

Did the previous owner run a lot of 2 3/4" shells? Are you running 3" hulls? Maybe some crud in the chamber from the shorter shells. Just a thought.

One of mine would not extract my reloads. Used factory loads, ejector worked just fine. I decided to use factory loads.

If your reloads are sticky maybe the base needs resized with a collet style sizer like the MEC Supersizer, not a ring type sizer. Also as mentioned before make sure the chambers are real clean. If the chamber is rough you can polish it with a bore mop that is snug in the chamber with some Flitz and a cordless drill going slow and inspecting often. Do not remove any metal, just polish out any roughness.
