Schematics and parts lists for the Model 24 show a "mainspring washer," but in looking at three or four intact receivers I can't for the life of me see a washer in, on or around the mainspring plunger or seat. The parts schematics are of no help in showing where the washer belongs. Can anyone advise what I'm not seeing? Where does that washer go?
