Hi there folks.
Inherited my grandfathers 24H-DL. It has one of those crumbling trigger guards, with a boss on the front thats screwed from the top/inside. Read through the handful of posts about these, and see that numrich is not making the original style replacement with the boss and screw from above. I was able to get the old screw out without too much disassembly. Anyway I see Numrich sells the screw from below style as a replacement for this but I'm not sure how that would work without putting a nut on the top/inside above the front of the trigger guard? Or should I just get the plastic one from spectresupply on ebay 'Kassnar Arms, Sears, Stevens 107, Savage 94 & MORE!' that a few reviews say fits the 24 'barely'?
Appreciate any thoughts.

Thought I would leave this here for future reference. I was able to get the aforementioned ebay trigger guard to work on my 24H-DL. It's not the nicest looking item.. plastic, chipped corners, and for $25 that part is disappointing. But the front that has the boss does have a metal bushing in it for the screw from above to thread into. Flexed the back to get the rear screw to attach. Hopefully lasts for a while. Best to you all.
