I have the grooved receiver on the .22mag/20 ga 24S, and I am in need of a scope mount. It seems like a regular .22 mount will not fit because of the .22mag barrel contour.
Can someone help me find a good mount that will keep my scope planted where it should be, even when using the 20 ga barrel?
Thanks

I am dealing with the same issues with my 24S-E. I am using Weaver part #49218 and it looks like I will have to clearance them a bit too.

I sent off for a Leupold 3/8" mount for a 1" tube. I think it will work. Midsouth has them in stock for under $40.00. Midway has them also.

The Leupold mount does not work. Can someone help me locate a mount for a 24S-E? The barrel (.22 mag) interferes with the mount, despite it having grooves for a mount. What the heck was supposed to fit?

Let me clarify, the .22 mag barrel has too much of a hump that interferes with the mount. Is there a mount made that can clear the barrel?

I bought a cheap Tasco scope and stole the mounts for my other generic 1" tube scope. The mounts clear the .22 barrel and hold the scope up high enough to also clear my iron backsite.
