I mean the next one you would like to “find” buy or feel you “need”?
I thought I was pretty well set finding the 357/20 last month. But in taking a couple to the range I feel I want/need a 22 Mag/ 410 and would want the newer version that opens from front of the trigger guard. Couple Years back they opened state lands here to ALL RF calibers from 22LR /shotgun /Muzzle loader only. Thats great news here as we hunt coyotes allot and the ability now to use better RF on some excellent state land opens a ton more places to hunt! I have long been a huge fan of the 22 mag and used it on many a coyote! I did run right out and buy a Savage WSM bolt for the extra power and it is superior to the 22WMR.
I FIND THE 20 actually too much many times. I generally never wing shoot with these 24’s so a 410 payload aimed and shot like a rifle is and has been more than enough. Plus slugs seem to always shoot more accurately.
So whats your next Savage 24?

cw, I have three 24s, a Springfield M6 and a Remington SP-94 and (for now) feel like my cup runneth over. Two are long rifle over 20 (both 24 Campers), the last 24 is a 30-30 Winchester over 12 gauge. The Remington is the rebadged Russian .22 Magnum over .410. The M6 is a .22 hornet over .410. I use to varmint hunt but no more so for now - I'm good. Until I change my mind, which could be any minute now, lol.

Centerfire/20 ga., I have a pair of 22/20 and 22/410 but would like to move up. 222,30-30,22hornet,223 over 20. I had a 223/12 with scope in my hands several years ago, but felt it was too much for what I wanted, something compact, light to carry and fit on a 4wheeler or tractor. Plus my best dickering skills brought me only $100 more than I had at the time. Keep looking, you're still breathing!

What's my next 24..... Would love to own the 30/30 over 20. Can not find one though.... Have tried an 18" 30/30 adapter for my 22mag/20 but just not the same. Would like the flexibility during deer season... Will just keep looking...
