Can a barrel be fitted to a frame????

Centerfire guns is a whole different story.All 24V (B,C,D) guns interchange ( 222,223,30-30,22 hornet and 357 mag/max) EXCEPT for the 24V-A in 222--the upper firing pin does not line up correctly.In 24F 12ga all the barrels interchange except the 17HMR set.Finally the 2400 combo series all interchange and can use barrels for the 330 series over/under sets as well.
