I want to mount a sling on my 24 .22mag over 20 ga. Anyone have a suggestion as to how to connect a sling swivel to the barrel?

I found one of these at a gun show the split band fit on the barrel & sight clamp on my 24V

It needs to be a .750 diameter barrel band. I used a GROVTEC GTSW-303 for lever action center fire rifles. Works good. They also have one just for 20 gauges. I have one on a Winchester pump 20.

Uncle Mike's QD Quick Detachable Super Swivels, #1595-2. That is what I use with good results.

Thanks for that info. I found one on ebay and "buyed it now". Also bid on two separate peep sights, should end up with one of them, hopefully not two.

Lost out on the peep sights, the bids went into the stratosphere I wasn't willing to pay that much. So I guess I'll mount my 4x Leupold again.

Thanks, thehunteriam, just got my Uncle Mike's QD Quick Detachable Super Swivels, #1595-2 you recommended in the mail today. Less than an hour of installation and it seems like it fits my 20 gauge barrel perfectly. So far I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a sling mount.

Uncle Mikes sells (or sold one() for 20 gauge barrels.  Editted later - should have also mentioned if you have a .410 barrel, the Uncle Mike's Marlin 336 magazine tube sling mount fits, its pictured above as well on that old FIE .410 single. |

TIP: put a bit of blue Loctite on the two ring halves where they contact the barrel.
