Thanks, It needs some work,bluing,rework sights,clean the wood. I only had a chance to shoot it at 50 yd's our 100 yd range is being rebuilt so its closed at this time, at 50 it shot a nice group would probably be real accurate but these old eyes don't do as well with iron sights. The shotgun kicked like a mule with a regular 2 3/4 20 ga. load,glad it wasn't a 3". I am currently installing a picatinny rail. I will post a picture when I get it redone.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, just a question for txbob. Where'd you get the picatinny rail to fit your 24v? I'm looking for one myself.

First of all my computer went down yesterday and I dont have access to my records on my back-up computer. I purchased a rail blank and had it machined to my overall height and length requirements and had it drilled and tapped for my 24. Do a search for Aluminum Mil-Spec Rail blanks. I am building my 24 to my vision of a versatile survival type gun. Hope this helps.
