I am ready to purchase a scope for my 24V and I am leaning toward a Bushnell Banner 4X it has 3.3 eye relief. My 24 is a .222/20 gauge so a 3"buck or slug is the most recoil it will have, and wondering if 3"eye relief is enough. I would like some feedback on your scopes and eye relief.

I use a Bushnell Banner 3-9x muzzleloader scope on my .30-30/20. It supposedly has longer eye relief than a regular rifle scope, but in reality it's not much more. I am thinking maybe 4". It's never come close to giving me scope eye, even with the 1oz 20ga Buckhammer slug.

I use a 4x Leupold on my .22mag/20 and a 6-16x Simmons on my .223/20 I find no eye relief problem when shooting slugs. I think both have about 3" eye relief.

Thanks for the for the feedback. Now if I can get it on my Christmas list, maybe Santa will put it under the tree. I think I have been good this year, rather have the scope instead of a lump of coal.
Hope everyone on the forum has a safe Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
