On the 24f model , is it possible to rebarrel a 12 ga model to a different caliber.
a 17remington/12ga. Would be the ultimate fur gun.
anyway to regulate barrels???
any 24 gunsmith specialists out there??
any way to work on triggers?.

Alas I just tried to get my gunsmith to re-chamber my 12/22 hornet to 17 remington (centerfire)but according to my smith,Brownell's told him the 17 sleeves they sell are for 17 rimfire cartridges only.Something about the sleeve not being able to handle the increased pressure of the centerfire round.Let us know if you find out something else.

BigK: Those Brownells liners are only .315 in diameter. The base of the .17 Rem is .376. Redmans does make other liners, however, so contacting them may get you what you want. mospurs: If the "F" is close to the "C" model, there is an article linked on the FAQ page which may help with your trigger.

MCA Sports/Ace Bullet Company

Check out this guys website. I have bought two inserts from him for my .222 a 22LR & a 22Mag. and I have a custom 22Hornet on order. if you don't see what you want on his site e-mail him with what you want. He has been real easy to work with & has responded pretty fast to my e-mails.

RJ Thanks for the tip but Redmans doesn't have any liners that will work either
