With so few options to obtain information about the Savage 24 to make this book what I want it to be, I've turn to the only resource left, and sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the BATFE. If I go missing, you'll know why.
I never imagined writing a book about a combination gun would be this difficult.

I can see it now in a year or two we will have to change our alias on here and everyone
will be saying odell? odell who? Glad I didn't change my generic avatar. LOL
Good Luck with the book. Will the forum members be able to purchase a signed copy of
the first edition?

Ya gotta love the BATF. They're the American Gestapo. Two of the four local gun shops (within 60 miles) were closed down this year by our friendly government agency. I think they alleged "record keeping". What ever happened to "For the people". We're supposed to have a government that looks after us....not the other way around. We need to do some serious work in the voting booth. We need a lot less Federal Government, More State and local input, and less Federal "Aid" abroad and more at home. Levy heavy import taxes on stuff manufactured overseas and make our business come home and put Americans to work instead of Chinese.
