I am new owner too but my understanding is all 24's are extractor only, no ejectors.

Correct. No ejectors, only extractors on the 24's.

Speaking of the extractors, I have a 24V in 222/20 and the 222 extractor won't extract. It won't pull the cartridge out far enough for me to grab with my fingers. I have to take a screwdriver or my pocketknife and pull it out. Does this mean there is a weak extractor spring? If so, how hard is it to replace that spring?
