Hey guys! This is just the gun I have been looking for. 22lr on top 20ga on the bottom. Shoots really! Just a real nice truck gun to cover my needs.
But I do have a question? My hammer seems a little odd? I have never owned a 24 before so maybe it is normal? The hammer seems a little wobbly? the selector is on the hammer and is firm but the whole hammer in general seems to be a little flimsy?
Does that make sense? Is there a fix or is this how they are made? I was told they are suppose to be like that so you can mess with the selector while the hammer is forward?

What is it doing that makes you say "flimsy?" Does it wobble side to side? Or do you mean because you can push it forward… which is how it's supposed to work.

I guess flimsy may not be accurate. When the hammer is forward it can still move forward about 4 mm if i push it. Side to side maybe 1 mm in either direction.

So long as your primer strikes are good, and your hammer cannot touch the firing pins w/o the trigger being pulled, should be fine. Yeah? Open your gun so can see the inside of the receiver. If you're able to get the hammer to bump the firing pins without pulling the trigger, that's a major safety concern. Other than that you should be good.
