Does loganboone still make shell cuffs? I tried to send a message to him but don't think I'm doing it right, no answer. I need one for a 24J-DL in left hand 22mag/20ga.

Check out the scout rifle forum. I think it's scoutrifle.org Andy from Andy's Leather host's it and as well as make Ching slings for scout rifles, he makes butt cuffs for them and other rifles including M24's. I purchased one from him before l found this forum. Excellent quality but not cheap, especially when you include postage to Australia.

Its a real pity if he's not in fact making them any more , I brought one off him a while ago , Think I posted a short review on here . And they are excellent , Not just excellent for the money , Just excellent full stop .
Really well designed and built to last a lifetime . One per rifle (If your lucky enough to owe more than one) Would be all you ever need . And you get a lifetime warrenty .
All the best fellas .
Andy .

I agree. Well made, and sturdy (although, don't store ammo in the cuff for too long....the untreated leather corrodes the brass).
A lifetime warranty?.....ummmm....but now we can't locate him?!!

I don't know him and don't mean to speak out of turn, but I wouldn't count him out just yet. Small game just opened up a couple weeks back and we are still in the deer rut here in the Midwest. Hopefully he's just busy out gitinerdun! Id like a shell cuff also so I'm a but anxious to see why happens here. And seconds on the leather making your the brass funky, if your the kind to leave your gun in the safe all of the off season.

Hello everyone. First off, I am sorry for the lack of correspondence and transparency on my part of this whole cluster-cuss. I am an extremely busy person and have very limited access to the internet(I'm currently visiting in-laws, with actual LAN line). I am still making cuffs, in fact it seems that every second of my spare time is spent doing so. I currently have about 30 orders backed up and at my best I can make 3 a day. I have only advertised here, for what I thought would be a dozen or so takers, but word has spread and I am building cuffs for half of Alaska. To try and clear this mess up I will be going to town every tuesday and using reliable internet access to deal. I have a list of people who have contacted me via PM here or e-mail(not counting the fore-mentioned 30 orders) and I am going to be contacting them in order of precedence to when they inquired.
I am going to include the information that I need to fill the orders and please read them carefully and give me all the info, as it is going to be hard to correspond. I will be including my phone number when I contact you. I need:
-Gun make and model, Savage 24, 2400, Baikal, Series letter or stock type helps -Caliber and gauge, I generally make them symmetrical, for example, three rifle rounds and three shotgun rounds, but I can change that as requested -Handedness -Leather color, black or brown -Mailing address and/or phone number -Method of payment, check, money order or Paypal(strongly preferred)
The cost is $40(shipping included) and unfortunately needs to be payed before I ship(but not before your cuff is finished), due to some dishonest dealings in the past.
I appreciate your patience, I have simply been overwhelmed and I do not blame anyone who is not willing to wait and seeks a different avenue.

loganboone - can you advise your email address. The cuffs are well worth the cost based upon pictures and previous posts by others who have purchased your cuff. They make a great addition to the 24. Thanks.

I'm not here often, but I'll add to the kudos of loganboone's cuffs. I've got two 24's and a 242 wearing them and think they are well worth any wait his (inadvertent!) success has created.

I can also endorse loganboone's work as well. I bought one from him last year and am very happy with it. Hopefully will add another one for my centerfire 24 Predator, but he is a busy man. Its worth the wait though.
