Gidday mate I'm from the land Down Under, and have a question for the Model 24 Gurus. I was recently given some firearms by a mates father as i am the only licensed person he now knows. One the rifles was a model 24 S-E, no I am no stranger to these rifles as i have one identical and a 24C. The issue is that the one recently acquired has had a hard life and when i got it home it operated ok but had a very hard trigger and when I separated the barrel from the stock I have been unable to put it back together and the trigger is stuck in the fired position. I have sprayed WD40 and stuff into the mechanism and left to soak for a week but there is no change I cannot close the breech totally it not far off closing but wont close completely so I cannot reset the trigger. Regards Gordon
