Hell all; I am currently refurbing a 24c
and my question is this; has anyone else had trouble removing the screws & pins from yours?
The plan is after I get it rebuilt, it is gonna get ceracoted in a dark blue or gun metal grey color [it is gonna be my "truck" gun] and the crud has hit the fan gun.
Thank you for your input.

Mike, this varies firearm to firearm. Get the wood off, get the best penetrating fluid you can, and soak it! Then use tang through screwdrivers, correct size, and hit the screw heads, firmly, whilst the part is supported. The hardest part on any of mine was the extractor screw. Good luck.

I've never taken my 24C apart - scared that I may not be able to get it back together ! Lose one screw and you are in for some hunting that part.
Cera-kote - nice ! I sprayed a single shot FIE .410 with Rustoleum bar-b-que pit paint for an outdoor finish - it works great ! Durable, non reflective and inexpensive to purchase.
Good luck sir.
