I am looking for recommendations for someone to do a full restoration on a Savage Model 24C-DL. The gun is in very poor shape. It is pitted very badly, the blue is gone and it needs lots of care.
The gun went through hurricane Katrina and was wiped off and sat for many years without being touched. It was my fathers gun and I would like to get it resorted to original value and pass it down to my kids.
If anyone know of someone who can do a quality restoration to this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

pacea2,
Welcome to the forum. Where are you located? I can possibly advise the name of a local gunsmith that does restorations.
