According to the paperwork that came with the 1973 catalog, Savage anounced it was quickly approaching the 1 million mark, but it was not achieved until 1975. By the middle of the 1990's, the Savage 24 had sold 1.6 million and was the second best selling firearm Savage produced. The first was the Model 99. It is now likely the Model 110 has or will eclipse the 24 in number sold and will make a run at the top spot.

I'm curious to know how many of each variation of the Savage 24 were manufactured. Anyone have that information in their "Savage 24" data base?
