My front sight post popped out of my Savage 24 and won't stay back in, so I figured now is as good of a time as any to replace the horrid stock sights.
Does anyone know of a good aftermarket sight set for the 24? I have a scope on it, but I'd like to have iron sights as well (no, they don't have to actually be iron).
To help narrow down what Savage I have, it's a middle/newer model with the firing pin selector on the hammer, it's .22/20GA, and it has the pheasant and fox engravings.

Williams Firesights (fiber optic) for Marlin 60 are installed on my S-D. You will have to have a hole drilled and tapped for the front sight screw and profile the bottom of the front sight. I had a 'smith do mine. The back sight just taps right in. It has elevation and windage adjustments built in. No elevation ramp needed. Plus they are inexpensive.

I recommend getting a brownells catalog and referring to the sight chart--that will show you how to determine front and rear sight elevations, then you can choose what type/style sights are best for you
