Hello all. First time here. I am trying to find out a little about a .22-20 ga. 24 that was given to me years ago. What year it was made, and how to sight the rifle in. It has model 24 series P stamped on the right side above the trigger. I have been trying to use the rifle with bird shot to take care of some pesky sparrows building nests around my dog kennel. Shooting it at a piece of plywood at about 25 yds. it shoots about10 or 12 inches to the right, and varies high and low. I assume there is no way of fixing the non adjustable dovetail sight right and left without replacing with a different one. Any info. would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

Unless this is a trick question, the rear sight, set in a dovetail, can be drifted left and right to adjust point of impact. Up and down is acheived by moving the stepped adjuster back or forward.
