I'm planning to put a scope on my 24, but although I have all kinds of mounts , none seems to fit. Are those Savage mounts a special size ? If so, where could I buy these
I want to put the scope on a model 24 p

Any 3/8 dovetail mount system should work--just be aware--the better ( called $$) the mount the better the shooting results

Found some types made by Leupold , quite pricy but worth the job !

You can try the BKL-260-MB mount. Works great on mt 24.
Then there is always the shotgun and mounted scope debate. Mine works with no problems.
