Hi folks,
I've ended up with a 24S (.22/20)that has a bent .22 barrel. I've tapped a bit with a rubber mallet, pried a bit with a flathead screwdriver, and have improved it a bit (and added a few scratches for "personality"), but it's still bent. A scope might work on it, I suppose, but it's definitely not "A" material.
Since I have another (same model), I have no real need to repair this one, but I'm curious if it would have some value as a parts gun. I'm only $200 into it (partial refund from the seller, once the extent of the issue was established), and all I really want to do is break even.
Is there a market for this sort of thing?

I'd say yes because I like to revive "hurt" 24's and the barrel is an easy thing to replace-so list it at gun broker and see what you get--$200 should be "doable"--esp. if the wood is decent

Good to know ... I'll get it up as soon as I get time/camera/firearm together all at once ...

It didn't go on Gunbroker, but I did find a local buyer interested in doing a rehab job on it, so it's in good hands ...
