G'day folks ...
Picked up an old Savage 24 (.22LR + 410) today. Will take it to my local range (Belmont, Qld, Australia) tomorrow and see what she can do.
This is a new gun for me and I have no idea how old it is. The reference number the dealer gave was DJ37. Does that mean 1937?? What does DJ stand for? I have yet to find DJ37 on the barrel or anywhere else!
I'm hoping to be able to take it down for a back pack for when I go bush. First, however, it needs a bit of renovation - stock and barrels.
Any advice would be most welcome ...
