Hello all. I live in east Tennessee and am mainly a waterfowl hunter but love to wingshoot anything and also love small game hunting and fishing. I have wanted a model 24 for about 15 to 17 years. Every time I found one it was a 410 and since a 410 is such a handicap for a wingshooter I would pass on it. I also love shooting .22s. I was at a pawnshop a few weeks ago and found a .22r over a 20 ga. I don't know how old it is and I don't know what the 20 ga. is choked. The numbers on the receiver are B548689 and it says model 24 and series P. Needs to be reblued and the stocks need to be replaced. I mounted the gun and the stock has lots of drop! It is so much that I cant see the sights so Im gonna replace it with a monte carlo stock. Any ways I am sure I will carry this little gun a lot. Love the site, seems like lots of good info is available. My next 24 is gonna be a .22mag over 20ga. Aint that something, I don't have the one out of the layaway yet and I have a second on my list!
