My Savage 24V series D .223/20ga. It has a Bushnell Scopemaster 2.5X with a post reticle on it. A homemade shell holder on the butt and sling. Home made paracord sling and "Camper style" cartridge trap in the stock (self made). Close up of shell cuff and trap door. Trap door opened, holds two 20ga shells, two .223 rounds and a section of PEX pipe full of waterproof strike anywhere matches(in the space between 20ga shells and reciever screw). The inside of the door itself has a piece of emery cloth glued to it as a striking surface. Paracord sling, with four shot cuff attached. Total load out for gun is seven of each caliber/gauge(5 birdshot 2 buckshot). Recently added a "thatta way" compass to fore stock. The previous owner had drilled two holes in failed attempts to mount a sling, so I used one. Don't know the overall weight, but it is hefty. I don't mind, I lugged much heavier weapons all over Iraq for two deployments. It still swings pretty good for wingshooting(looking over scope) and has accounted for a few grouse and rabbit on the move. Took one deer this year with .223 barrel. I have a 22 Hornet adapter for it and it fires my "small game handload" well, also have a Savage four-tenner that I can drop in it and a few more chamber adapters (.410,.38SPL), but I don't have much faith in the short adapters.

Sweet rig mate How do you find the barrel regulation with the scope? I was thinking about putting a 1-4X scope on one of my 24's what mounts are you using?
