I aquired a 24A .22/.410 and the selector and button were missing so purchased parts from Numrich but my have a small problem. After installing all parts, the selector won't move up to the .22 position because the top edge of selector plate is catching the .22 firing pin button. If I point the gun straight up in the air or at a good angle, the plate will tip back towards the hammer and it works fine. I did remove the .410 firing pin and installed a spring that was designed for the .22 pin and now with the light pressure from the .410 firing pin button pushing back on the selector plate it moves up and down freely. Anyone have any ideas because the best I can tell, there isn't a spring used on the .410 pin. Thanks

Just got to thinking. Can anyone check and see if their gun does the same thing if it is unloaded? If there was a .410 shell loaded, the primer would hold the pin out and put slight pressure on the plate allowing it to be selected up and down. Does anyone else have a problem cycling the selector unloaded while pointing the barrel towards the ground? Thanks again.

My 22/410 with selector on the side switch's back and forth with out any hangups loaded and unloaded, it also switch's if the breach is open.
