I just traded a Glock for a 24 Camper. 22lr/20GA pretty clean, some surface rust and some dings on the wood.
I want to refinish the wood and touch up the bluing a little.
Just gonna sand the wood, restain it and then a couple of coats of Verethane.
As far as the metal I'm planning on hitting it with some 0000 steel wool and then cold blue touch up.
Anything I need to know first? I've got a Savage Bolt Action .22 that I'm going to do as well, I think I'll start with that.
My 24 came with a torn up case. I'm thinking it'll be my truck gun.
Open to your thoughts and suggestions.
