Hi All, I was just given a Stevens .22-.410 with a crack at the wrist of the tennite stock. In trying to remove the stock there is a large(1")slotted screw at the butt plate. I can turn the screw with minor effort but it Is not coming loose? Any Ideas.

OK I got the plug out and the stock off, next step is to replace the firing pin for the upper barrel( I think) no pin just a bumpy area on the surface if the firing pin.

Thanks, I did manage to figure out the stock removal. Now I sizing up the job of replacing the .22 firing pin.
