Does some one know if the extractor plate is a seperate part from the extractor plunger? If so do I need to find a gunsmith to make into one piece? The gun is a .222cal/20 gauge. That extractor plate has a spring and a brass piece on one side and a set screw one other side of the plate. I still have the plate. I am guessing if I can find the plunger, and find a gunsmith who can put them together. So gentlemen lend me some knowledge an please tell me if I am going in the right direction? THANKS Gladimetya

I think I understand what you'er asking On a 24V the rifle shell (and shotgun shell also) is ejected by the ejector plate. The ejector plate has a small spring actuated plunger that "grabs" the rifle shell casing. The plunger is held in the plate by a tension pin (in all the 24Vs I ve seen).I've bought the plunger and spring from e-gunparts.I've also made my own plunger from a finishing nail, the diameter was close enough, but it really helps to see an actual plunger to visualize how to make it. I think plungers from 24F guns will work also
