I just acquired this Savage 24J DL..... 22mag over 20 ga. last weekend....I had trouble ( due to old age ) using the iron sights so I had my gunsmith scope it for me... Weaver Marksman 4X .......... love it !! Attachments:

Beautiful looking gun. I have always wanted to have a deluxe model like that, but up here in Canada its hard enough to find a field grade model for a decent price. Took me about 3 years looking hard to find my model p field grade and still paid to much (don't regret it one bit though) Anyway that is a real beauty.

Very nice...Looks beautiful.....I have a 22WMR/20G Series-P 24 Field Grade myself that was handed down to me from my Dad after he passed...Love It Too....It's in pretty good shape especially the barrels(inside)...Enjoy yours I know I enjoy mine alot....Looking to get a few more some day when i can afford to....Looking for one or maybe two 22LR/410(for my Gran-Sons) and either a 223/20...357/20....Or a 30-30/20.....Again very nice gun you have there...

I'm eight, and still looking...trying to catch up with Big Kelly. I could never own as many as Odell... he's the "King of the Hill"! |

fearnofishbob- That is a nice gun and i am not jealous. I have never seen a 24 look that good, the
wood looks very nice.
