I really feel I can cut my groups in half if it wasn't for the horrible trigger. I can live with some creep, but the pull feels like 10 pounds!!
I am going to have to find a gunsmith to help me out. Can you imagine how sweet these rigs would be with an aftermarket trigger?

Has anyone polished the sear as outlined in the links section? Any tips?

Look in the 24 Links on the main Savage24.com page.

Well, my 24S-E is pretty much different than the link, but I tackled it anyway. You cannot see the inner workings of the receiver when the stock is off. When you drive those pins out, you are on your own when parts start coming out <GRIN>.
I polished down the sear, and it's an improvement! I am going polish it down a little more tonight. Hope I can get it all back together. I have taken some pictures, and may post them.
The trigger breaks way cleaner without the creep. I realize I can only go so far with this because you really can't lighten the pull that much, but a cleaner break sure is noticeable and will greatly ass to my accuracy.
