Hey All, I'm a new Model 24 Owner, as well as a new member on the forum here. I can't believe it took me so long before I found out about these guns! I wish I had one as a kid! So after all these years of not having one, (mostly because I never heard of them!) I saw one at an auction, bid, and didn't go high enough. (It wound up going for $750) After that, I was determined to get one at a cheaper price, and got the 24C Series S, on an online auction. My dream gun, however, was the 22WMR over 20, so I kept my eye out, and a week later saw one near me for 1/2 the price of the one I just bought! I RAN to the store, and got the 24D Series P THAT day! My 24C came in the day after! The photo is what they looked like when I got them, but I spent today taking them apart, cleaning them up, and putting them back together. Now I can't wait to get to the range! I'm really thrilled to be a proud owner of such a fantastic weapon. As I told my son who's away, with the 24 D, you can basically kill any animal on the North American Continent! I think that's a Pretty Awesome Weapon! Now I'm looking forward to reading everything on these boards here, and getting to know some of you. Hope I'm as welcome as I feel.
