I frequent a lot of (too many!) online forums about guns and myriad other topics. A majority of those forums frequently involve what I must call snottiness, rudeness, mouthiness, general incivility, even when topics and others' comments would seem innocent and noncontroversial. Many users of various forums, under cover of anonymity, seem to have a compelling need to express their imaginary superiority by insulting, belittling and generally disrespecting others. I have been a regular on this Model 24 forum for many years (under the username "rossowmn" in the old forum). I must compliment my fellow forum members by saying that rarely if ever have I seen them treat others with anything but respect, decency and helpfulness. We don't always agree on every topic, but the nastiness so often seen on other forums doesn't seem to appear here. Visiting the forum never feels like a call to battle. May it ever remain so!

I am in complete agreement, having contributed to quite a few forums on assorted topics over the years (i stopped because of the attitude spoken of here) This forum has consistently been high class. I am far from an expert and, my questions were treated like they were legitimately important (instead of scorn as seen on other forums)
I will keep checking back and, hopefully have more questions or, answers to share here.
recently got a second savage 24 222/20 to go with my 22/410
