I have a model 24 .410/.22 combo and it does not throw the empties out is this normal?

Of the three I've owned none have. As far as I know they've always had extractors and not ejectors. I've never owned a 410 and/or and old one though. Can anyone else confirm this?

extractor only on mine...but it is very old and very original... WOW, spell checker too...I am gonna look smart on this board

I;ve been around a whole lot of 24s, all calibers and gauges, and none of them had ejectors, only extractors.
Personally, I like extractors much better than ejectors s I am not a fan of leaving empty cases on the ground and would rather not have to search through leaves and such. I just don't find it that hard to remove a spent case even with the same hand that is chambering a fresh cartridge.

Thank you for all the responses. I like extractors better because I reload just wanted to be sure I didn't have an issue.... ;D

As others have said, all are extractor only, which is a total pain in the butt when you have to get big fingers around little .22 posteriors.
