I bought a .22 lr/.410 from Loganville sometime ago; it was very well-made. Liked it so much I bought a .222/20 for my other 24. He sent a note with the last one which indicated he was retiring from the business.
mnbobster, sure, pockets work. But the ammo carrier is like fuzzy dice hanging from a '55 Chevy rear-view mirror: it just looks right 😁😊☺

I'm usually wearing a hunting vest or jacket with shell holders and big pockets. You seldom need a lot of shells/bullets so I suppose it makes sense if you are dressed for warm weather.

I bought this model from Optec for my 24V in 12ga/30-30. Optech buttstock holderIt works well, holding three shells and three cartridges.
